heylo in Düsseldorf is designed for low-carbon heating and high digital smart-building standards. We supported the owner’s ambitious ESG goals—including DGNB “Gold in Use” certification, SmartScore Gold certification, and compliance with the EU Taxonomy—during the building’s sustainable renovation.
heylo pilot project
Setting new standards for sustainable refurbishment
With heylo, we’re showcasing the transformation of an aging single-tenant property into a technologically advanced multi-tenant office that meets the “BEG Efficiency Building 100” energy standard. As part of the comprehensive renovation, we have fundamentally upgraded the existing building with future-proof technology and intelligent sensor systems. By pre-installing modern photovoltaic modules on the roof, we have also laid the groundwork for a CO2 reduction of more than 100 kg CO2 /m²a when the systems are in use.
