RWE Campus I

It is the link between the Elting district, which is specifically promoted by the city of Essen, the new university district and Nordstadt. The three square buildings, which have been erected next to the historic building, form the RWE Campus, the new corporate headquarter of RWE AG. The brick architecture of the new building ensemble picks up the industrial use of the former Victoria Mathias coal mine site and reminds us of the Ruhr area’s traditional past.
